A fix release for scanner incidents where a person left some resources out of a run. No schema change, no new route, setting or audit action.
Patched instances and resources left out of a run
- A released patch now marks its instance "fixed, awaiting scanner". An instance patch or package upgrade did not mark the finding of the instance it ran on, so a vulnerability fixed on one instance (with others left out of the run) never showed as fixed and the prompt to analyse the rest never appeared. Only the patched instance's finding is marked; the instances left out stay open with no claim. Checked by unit tests.
- A left-out resource's alert no longer buys a paid verify. The free check after a fix already skipped the finding of a resource left out of the run, but not that resource's alert when the alert named it only in its details. The alert then failed the check and an agent verify decided at a cost. Both are now skipped, and the rest is handed to a person as before. Checked by unit tests.
